Instant Kava is the lazy way of getting a quick shell into you. The kava purists don't like it as traditional preparation isn't involved, however it sure makes having a quick kava shell easy. The problem being is that a lot of supposed "instant kava" is finely ground kava powder, leaving the end user not getting the same kava buzz they would get off traditional kava, as there is no concentrated kava in the product.

The best instant kava we cam across was the Quick Kava Premium range. It was extremely soluble with minimal residue left in the cup after mixing it - which we did with water and cordial. But the proof was in the kava buzz. It was a real clean kava high and there was no "kava-over". The Easy Kava crew found it to be of exceptional value as you only required one tea spoon to get a good buzz. As mentioned, instant kava is not for everyone and traditionally prepared kava powder is still the preferred choice for lots of people who buy kava. We have used kava powder from Vanuatu Kava Store for a long time and we even drink kava with the guys and gals from VKS on occasions. It is because of this and the fact that we have tried their kava and matched it up against other online kava sellers that we highly recommend and sell their kava powder range, both Pentecost Pride and the Tanna Kava range. Both of these products are sourced directly from the growers on each respective islands. Both are noble variety kava strains, Borogu (Pentecost Pride) and Kaolik (Tanna kava Kaolik) and both are supplied in their traditional form, i.e. 80% stump root and 20% lateral root. These are the blends that the people in the islands have drunk for years and it is this blend that causes  the  good effect without any kava hangover. Whilst other kava powder products are strong, i.e. tu daie kava or 100% lateral roots, these are either damaging (do some research on wild or tu dai kava) or are non traditional blends of kava.
